The Al Habtoor Royal Windsor Cup is one of the most competitive polo tournaments with over 25 of the best national teams entering each year. The final always proves to be an enjoyable display of high quality polo set in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. This is followed by an elegant carriage driving procession, historically performed in front of HM The Queen and HRH Prince Philip.

Teams enter from all over the country for the opportunity to play in the final of The Meyado Archie David Cup. Qualifying rounds take place at several other polo clubs in the early stages of the tournament, so if you want a chance to see your home team compete at Smith’s Lawn this is the event to watch. Arrive early and enjoy a picnic with family and friends or simply take in the glorious views of Windsor Great Park.

The biggest polo day in the world! Royalty, celebrities and leading players combined with a 25,000 strong crowd make attending this event an experience you’ll never forget. Follow the highs and lows of the players as they gallop across the pitch, ride each other off or turn on a sixpence in pursuit of that all important goal. Remember to visit our Retail Village in between matches for a unique shopping experience.
